Over the course of just two weeks life as we know it has changed so significantly. We’re all working harder than ever and our collective stress levels are being pushed to the max. So glad to be part of a team that has taken all these challenges in stride creating new ways of running our business during the novel corona virus.
Virtually overnight we restructured how we interact with our clients, ensuring their safety and our own. Read more about our new procedures put in place. And more coming soon with telemedicine. In most communities, veterinary care is considered an essential service and we are doing our best to ensure we remain open to serve the needs of pets in the communities in which we operate.
THRIVE is continuing our hiring of veterinary professionals in our 85+ locations across the US. So while unfortunately some companies have hiring freezes and layoffs, we’re moving ‘full steam ahead’ with our hiring. We’ve made amendments to our hiring process to make it safer for our existing team-members and our prospective team-mates alike. If you or someone you know might be interested in a new veterinary career we’d love to have a conversation about their particular career goals and how they might align with the veterinary jobs we have available.
As mentioned, we have a few changes to our current hiring procedures. We’ve added an event called THRIVE Live Chat. This is an opportunity for those seeking Vet Tech Jobs or a Veterinarian Career to live chat with our recruiting team about what it’s like to work on our team. These events are held each Tuesday, from 11am to 3pm EDT and scheduled every week through April, 2020. You can sign-up ahead of time or simply join us online https://www.thrivevet.com/careers/ on Tuesdays.
On April 5th we’ve changed our in-person Meet & Greet for Houston Veterinary professionals to a virtual event. This is specific to the Houston Texas market, so if you’re interested please RSVP.
As a way to de-stress and relax, we’re hosting a LIVE concert — Paws for a Moment-LIVE music for the greater veterinary community. Join us on April 5, 2020 at 8pm EDT. It will be broadcast on FaceBook live, so ‘dust off your dancing shoes’, and get ready to stream the event to your big screen TV. If you can’t make the live event, we’ll have a recording of the event to view in the future.
We hope you find this information helpful. If you’re a pet owner know we’re open to serve your pet’s needs. Veterinary professionals, if a new career is something you’re considering, know we’re here to start a conversation!
