According to the Humane Society, Approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year and approximately 2.7 million of these animals are euthanized.

We take pride in helping all our patients, especially our newly adopted friends. Our team in Redlands, CA recently helped two loveable dogs who got a second chance at life thanks to their adopted pet parents.

Standing Bear the Pit Bull

Meet Standing Bear. This adorable gray pit bull was in bad shape and needed to be on medication. He was due to be euthanized by the local shelter. A couple came and adopted Standing Bear and brought him into THRIVE for affordable care.

 Max

One of the most common health concerns bulldogs have is with their skin and Max was no different. The need for expensive medications to clear his infections caused Max to be surrendered by his former family. He was taken to THRIVE to get the care he needed. THRIVE cleaned out the abscess on his right leg, he was neutered and sent home to his new family a happy dog.
