Fun Facts:

  • I am married to my husband, Ray. I’m an Aggie and he’s an LSU Tiger.  We are a house divided!  The annual LSU vs TAMU football game is always a loving battle!
  • I am a crazy dog mom! I have four dogs who were all rescues or strays.
  • I love endurance running – my farthest race to date is 100K (that’s about 65 miles).
  • I enjoy wellness in general.  Besides running, I do outdoor boot camps, yoga, cycling, SUP’ing and anything I can do with my dogs outdoors. They are great workout buddies!

Why THRIVE?

I joined THRIVE because of the people-centric culture.  I love people as much as I love my four-legged patients.  I enjoy how we keep our team members top of mind when making business decisions.  THRIVE’s culture of being flexible also fits on the top of my list of values.  I am honored to support our THRIVE Teams in the Greater Austin, Texas Area.

When did you know you wanted to become a veterinarian?

I decided at the age of 7 that I wanted to be a veterinarian.  The human-animal bond is my why.  We moved a lot when I was a child for various family reasons.  My pets were always my confidantes and guidance counselors – they were great listeners and never judged.  Being able to give back to pets and to support the human-animal bond are the reasons I became a veterinarian.
